First aid at PIPS🏩

During the “Just do it” practical week, our students had an important and exciting first aid lesson. Professional instructors gave a detailed presentation, during which they talked about the basic principles of first aid 😌
After the theory, the students moved on to practice. The first task was to learn how to apply a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. We were explained in detail how to use this tool correctly, and each student had the opportunity to try applying a tourniquet on his own 👨🏼‍⚕️
The next stage was learning indirect heart massage. Students practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a special mannequin. The instructors carefully monitored the correctness of the movements and gave useful advice so that everyone understood how to properly help a person in case of cardiac arrest 💊
We are sure that the acquired knowledge will give confidence in any emergency situation and help save lives. 🚑👏
